I have just updated my List of Things To Do This Summer that I posted back in June, and crossed off the items that I actually completed. In case you haven't checked it out, I will inform you of the results. I completed 15 of the items on the list. Out of 84.
Well... this is the failure part of the title. That was a failure in keeping up with what I want to do. Oops.
However, I still consider the summer to be successe, regardless of how many of the unrealistic goals I had set and failed to reach. (now I'm just trying to make myself feel better about myself). BUT!! There is more to the title of this post than failure! I still have to talk about my continued attempts! What I meant by this, is that I am going to make another (more realistic) list of what I want to do by the end of this school year. I know, you are probably saying well this is just sad. She couldn't do it the first time, what makes her think she can do it now? Well I think that since the school year is much longer than the summer, and the fact that I know what I will probably be capable of, I believe I am wiser and much more capable of setting goals for myself now. Thank you very much (sassy face). So without further ado, or whatever the word is in that saying, here is my list of goals for the year:
- Be you, don't let other people sway who you are more than you are comfortable with. Stick to your own opinions and beliefs.
- Stay on top of things. Don't let yourself be strangled in homework or stuff you haven't done yet.
- Kiss someone (preferably your boyfriend). Passionately. Bonus points if you start the kissing.
- Before completing the above goal, kiss less passionately a couple times first, just cause you still don't know what you are doing and wouldn't want to embarrass yourself. (more)
- Stay true to your friends. By know you know who the real ones are so KEEP THEM no matter what.
- Have a blast at whatever you do, because what is the point otherwise?
- Start baking more. You know how much you love cookies, start making/eating them.
- Have an all night let-it-all-out conversation with the closest friends.
- Wear crazy clothes/make-up and have a photo shoot
- Have a sick as fuck Halloween costume. Go big or go home.
- Throw a Halloween party. Or get you and your friends invited to an awesome one. Doesn't count if its not awesome (the pressure's on!)
- Be more grateful and less needy
- Be a better friend
- Make people laugh constantly.
- Go out to breakfast frequently. Breakfast food = the best food
- Know what you want, and go after it.
- Carry a squirt gun in your purse and USE IT OCCASIONALLY
- Challenge yourself in all that you do.
- Have a paint fight
- Share a bottle of whipped cream with someone. And spray that shit right into your mouths. LIVE A LITTLE
- Don't be an ass, but be an ass
- Or just have an ass. That works too.
- But we all know that isn't going to happen.
- Hahaha I'm so funny.
- Ok back to the list. Sorry.
- Take lots of picture, because you know you will want to remember stuff later on in life.
- Complete every item on this list.
Please feel free to use this list or a similar list for yourself. And if you do ignore the part in the middle where I was trying to be funny by having a conversation with myself. But as you could see, I took a few of these from my summer list, and I will probably add to this list as I come back in to cross things off (hopefully that will happen at least). Anyway, that is all for this post. Thanks for reading.
